Roxy

Roxy is a large muscular female imported from the Netherlands with a rich lineage in Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) mine detection dogs (MDD).  She has proven her working ability not only on the field, obtaining her IGP3 before reaching 3 years old with very respectable scores, but also through her work as a Search & Recovery K9.  After only 6 months of training she achieved her certification with the American Working Dog Association for Human Remains Detection and actively serves on a team.  Roxy is a go anywhere, do anything dog who is full of life and love and without reactivity to environment, people, or animals (dogs, cats, small animals, farm animals).  She has an extremely strong hunting drive which makes her perfect for detection work.  Even with strong drives and deep, full grips she is a trustworthy and wonderful member of the house and pack.
